Shopping today, I found something that warmed my heart on this COLD day of 15 degrees in Tennessee. So I brought it home.
This bouquet of tulips not only warmed my heart but warmed my home. The color got my attention. I don't know if you can tell in this photo, but they are a burnt orange, almost rust - a perfect compliment to my kitchen.
The Bottom plate is:
Gourmet Expressions in Great Room Cream
Center Plate is made by Royal Stafford
that I picked up at Home Goods
The tiny top plate is:
Martillo in Crème Brulee from Pier One
The tulip - designed and created by God.
In the photo above and below, I traded the two top plates for the salad plate that is supposed to be paired with the bottom plate. I don't know if I have a preference. They each have their own personality.

ReplyDeleteI looked for a bouquet of flowers when went out Sunday, but there were not any bargains.

I don't blame you for taking those tulips home. They're gorgeous and are perfect with your kitchen and place setting.I was thinking of some I bought about this time last year, but yours are prettier. :) LOVE the color.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
Oh, I love the beauty that the good Lord has created for us! I looked for red tulips to bring home the other day but no red. Pink and white, which were gorgeous, but I wanted red! The burnt orange looks so pretty with your combination of dishes! Thanks for visiting my blog. Now following you. I have a link party that is live now. Share Your Cup Thursday. It's about sharing the things that make you happy. I'd love if you shared!

Lovely...I love both variations, but am a sucker for transferware. Love those tulips!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Love the color of those tulips! I love the tulip set in with the napkn ring and napkin. I like that Royal Stafford plate- sure wish I had a Home Goods close by!
ReplyDeleteHi! This is my first visit to your blog! I'm visiting from Susan's "Tablescape Thursday" where I link up most weeks, too!
ReplyDeleteI love it that orange is the color of choice for your kitchen! It's such a vibrant, energizing color! We have it in our dining room (red's appetizing first cousin!) and in the half bath on the main floor. It's one of those colors that just makes you sit up a little bit straighter and take notice!!! The tulips are spectacular!
Beautiful photos! Have a wonderful weekend!
